1. Glacier Lily Season (Yellow)
• Blooms late June to early July, peaking around late June to the first week of July. Currently in bloom as of June 11, 2025.
• These fleeting yellow glacier (avalanche) lilies cling to the snowline and last only a couple of weeks before fading.
2. Rainbow Wildflower Show
• Occurs in late July to early August, featuring vibrant paintbrush, lupins, alpine daisies, and more, covering 20+ species.
📍 Getting There & Trail Overview
• Trailhead access:
• 11.3 km north from Clearwater on Clearwater Valley Road, then turn onto rough Road 80 (Spahats Creek Forest Service Road). The drive 13 km and a gravel road; a high clearance vehicle is recommended, though 4WD isn’t mandatory.
