There’s plenty of room for snowmobiles to rev it up and experience the adrenaline-fueled sledders rush of snowmobiling in Clearwater and Wells Gray Country. Most gravitate into the powder-bowls of Raft Peak north of Clearwater, which is served by a network of groomed trails and two cabins high in the alpine. Feel the rush of the clean, crisp mountain air as you fly along timbered passages and snow-covered meadows on your snowmobile.
There are also hundreds of kilometres of sledders’ heaven along roads and trails on the Nehalliston Plateau west of the Clearwater River. These include a long-distance route stretching all the way through to 100 Mile House. Yet more options are to be found south of the North Thompson River, where routes head far into the hills above Birch Island and Vavenby.
